How to Boot in Recovery Mode without Touching Hard Keys

“Booting the phone into recovery mode” is the most used phrase when we talk about rooting and Android phone, or installing a custom ROM or mod, or applying a patch. Most of Android enthusiasts like me go through this common routine of entering the recovery mode almost everyday, or sometime many times a day. I still remember how the Home key of my Galaxy S2 stopped working due to over use and extra pressure.
We buy a smartphone, use for a few days, seek for a way to root it, search for a good custom ROM, flash it, enjoy it for a few days, then start looking for a better ROM, a better-better super better ROM and so on. This eternal voyage continues till we are fed with all available resources and a new and superior handset hits the market. The new phones meets the same treatment. All such activities require booting our phone into recovery or custom recovery mode. Devices by different manufactures have different sets of Key Combinations that need to be pressed hard for some time to boot into recovery. As a result of our over enthusiasm to enhance our mobile experience we often do a great injustice to the poor hard keys.
We all love our phones as an essential part of our lives. We put a costly screen-guard and cover the phone with a variety of cases and covers to save the display and phone’s body from scratch. But our concern for the hard keys is almost dismal. In the present article, I will be discussing with you on a solution to this problem.
Most of the tutorials on rooting and flashing a custom ROM tell you enter the custom Recovery Mode by pressing a specific set of keys, but you can do this without touching any of the hard keys mentioned there. The play store has a number of free and paid apps that can save your phone’s hard keys from getting damaged and boot into recovery with less effort.

Here, I shall talk about the three apps, of course there are many others, that make booting into recovery as easy as touching your phone’s display. All these apps work on a rooted Android phone.

Quick Boot is another nice application that allows you to reboot phone to recovery in a fey touches. It is also a free app. It can be started from long press “search” button menu. - Se

Boost Galaxy Note 3 Volume with Sound Hack Mod

if there is a single most fascinating thing about Android, most of you will agree that it is rooting. Rooting is a widely known term in the Android community. Our OEMs disdain it  and try their best to discourage users against it. Many sophisticated fellows refrain from it because they are afraid of bricking their device or because they are not much interested in such activities. However, those who are passionate about their phone or tablet and wish to enhance its performance and enjoy customization, cannot live a single day with a device that does not have root access.
Rooting gives you full control over the system files of your device and by modifying those files, you can radically curb things according to your requirements. This does mean that every user with a rooted device should be a geeky sort of person. Android is the most popular platform for mobile devices and it has a great developer community that keeps working day and night to help you get the most out of your smartphone or tablet. Today, we’ll see a great example of what rooting can really do on Android devices!
Low volume is one of the commonest issues that we, as a phone users, face in everyday life. The problem becomes even more serious to those spend most of their time in noisy places. It really feels irritating when we are not able to hear the ringtone when someone calls us, or the alarm fails to wake us up, or we are not able to hear the in-call voice clearly. I have about half a dozen Android flagships and low volume is probably the single issue that highlights the unity in diversity.
If you own a Samsung Galaxy Note 3, I am sure you would not be satisfied with it volume loudness. As I said, this is not a Note 3 specific problem at all and that’s why we have done various topics on the way to boost the volume on Android devices in the past. If you want to get louder volume on your device, our tutorial will help you boost Galaxy Note 3 volume with sound hack mod.

Backup Apps, Contacts, Logs, Messages and Settings without Rooting Your Android Phone

Backup-Your-Apps-Android
Mobile phones are no more just a simple gadget that let us make/receive  calls and send text messages. It has now become a digital companion that wakes and sleeps with us, keeps important and secure data, reminds us of events, calculates and computes for us. It’s an exquisite example of how technology can make our liver better and richer. Our phones store items like contacts, messages, lots of apps and games downloaded from the app market. When we get a new phone, we spend a lot of time configuring it to our preferences and it takes a lot of time.
Those who play  rooting and flashing  games frequently can easily create a nandroid backup of their device using CWM or TWRP recovery, and thus preserving all data including apps, settings, calendar and all. The Google Play Store is full of apps that can easily backup almost everything present on your phone, but most of these apps are for root users only. There is a large Android community, however, who love their phone as it is without rooting or modifying it. So, how can they backup their apps, messages, call-logs, phone settings, calendar entries, user dictionary, bookmarks, APNs, etc.

Recommended Articles:

Most people loose such data accidently and circumstances might be different. If you think you need not backup your data because you never plan to plunge into such activities as are major reasons for data loss, keep in mind things do not always go as planned. Suppose you installed an app from the market and when you opened it, your phone freezes! What would you do if your phone is suddenly caught into a bootloop? You will have to wipe your phone to fix it and in doing this you are sure to lose all apps, games, contacts, messages, etc. Wouldn’t it be great if you had backed up all such data stored on your Android phone?
So here are some of the best apps that can backup all installed apps, call-logs, messages, contacts, etc so that you can restore them later in case you have lost them. I have used them all, tested the features and functionality, and then sharing with you all.

App Backup & Restore

App Backup & Restore
App Backup & Restore does exactly what it says. It is a really good app for non rooted Android phones and tablets. The app can backup all third-party apps installed on your device. Unlike apps like TitaniumBackup and SuperBackup, this app works without root. But due to no root access it cannot backup the app data. What you can backup is just the .apk files to the external SD card of your phone. The app can also backup the system apps but for that you will have to enable this feature from app settings. All backed up apps are stored by default to a folder named “App_Backup_Restore” on the external storage.
Open the app and select the apps you would like to be backed up and tap on the “Backup” button. To restore that app later, tap on the “Archived” tab,  select the apps and click “Restore” button. You can perform backups manually, or schedule it from app settings.

Backup Your Mobile

Backup Your Mobile
Backup Your Mobile is rather a new entry at the Google Play Store that  performs backup for various types of  items. It’s an all-in-one kind of app  that can backup and restore your contacts, SMS, MMS, call logs, system settings, user dictionary, APNs, calendar events, bookmarks and browser history. Backups are stored on SD card or in device memory, it is also possible to store data on Google Drive or Dropbox. You can either backup the selected item manually or schedule automatic backups.
When I tested this app on Galaxy S3 with the leaked Android 4.2.1 two days ago, it did not work then and I got force close error every time I tried to create a backup. But the app received an important update yesterday which added support for Android 4.2 too.

Easy Backup

Easy Backup
Easy Backup is another nice, and probably the best, free app for backing up your messages, call logs, calendar entries, bookmarks and contacts. It can backup these data on the native SD card, or store them online to your Gmail, Google Drive or Dropbox account. You can create backup manually or schedule automatic backups. The app UI looks nice and I like its dark holo look. Having installed the Easy Backup app on your device, you need not install separate apps for backing up your contacts, messages, logs and other data.

Backup App for Rooted Phones:

Super Backup SMS & Contacts
If you have got root access on your Android phone or tablet, there is a very good all-in-one app that can simply backup almost everything that might be of any importance to you. The Super Backup app just and amazing tool that creates backup of you apps with settings and data, contacts, messages, call-log, calendar, bookmark, etc.
I hope these apps would help you in keeping your valuable data always backed up so that you do not loose anything ever. If you know about a better backup app, please share with us and do not forget to tell us if it helped you. Cheers!
